STEWARDSHIP PATHWAY

Just as in the natural world, human systems face threats on a daily basis. In order to adapt well and maintain optimal performance, the environments must be continuously nurtured and empowered as conditions change.

Trust, communication, and collaboration are not static outcomes. They are dynamic processes that evolve alongside the pressures and realities of organizational life.

For this reason, SocialBiome is structured to support as Steward—ensuring ongoing support of social ecologies so they remain responsive and adaptive over time.

How Stewardship Design Serves the Whole

SocialBiome serves beyond the traditional consulting engagement or short-term training initiative.

SocialBiome partners with leadership teams as a ongoing steward attentive to individual, team, and system dynamics.

SocialBiome commits to supporting the ongoing health and evolution of the organization’s emotional and social ecology.

This structure allows the work to remain embedded within organizational daily life—close enough to observe real dynamics while maintaining enough distance for objectivity and the preservation of trust.

Improved emotional and social safety translates into better cognitive performance, increased sharing of information, better problem solving, higher retention—to name but a few of its rewards. The ROI is immediate and can be measured through retained employees, improved quality outcomes, rising satisfaction scores, lower call outs and temp staff costs, and so much more.

Lori Wallace

Founder, Steward

SocialBiome was created by Lori Wallace, whose career has centered on understanding the human dynamics that shape complex organizations.

After more than two decades working alongside leaders and professionals in high-pressure environments—particularly in healthcare—Lori observed how often the social systems that govern trust, communication, and collaboration were left unattended, and the risk that came with that.

Her work integrates insights from biomimicry, nervous system science, and servant leadership to help organizations intentionally design and steward the social systems that support healthy teams and resilient performance.
